Aromelle Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aromelle Team ("Aromelle", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Aromelle mobile application and related services (the "Service").

Aromelle helps you manage your bag and jewelry collection in one place by organizing items into categories such as bags, necklaces, rings, and earrings, recording each wear so you can keep a clear history of how often every piece is used, and providing practical insights like wear frequency and idle duration to help you identify favorites and items that need more rotation. It also allows you to save outfit combination canvases so you can keep and revisit your preferred pairings, making daily accessory planning, tracking, and collection management more structured and consistent.

Important: The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17.

1) Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information collected automatically, and (c) information collected with your permission.

1.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: name, username, and email address.
  • Customer support: the content of messages you send to us (including any attachments) and related contact details.
  • User Content: item details (e.g., category and notes), wear records, outfit combination canvases, and other collection content you choose to store in the Service.

1.2 Photos and face-related information

  • No facial recognition: we do not perform facial recognition.
  • No biometrics: we do not create or store biometric identifiers/templates.
  • One-time processing and deletion (if used): if you upload a photo for a one-time generation/export feature, it is processed to provide the requested output and then deleted from our servers immediately after processing completes (or as soon as reasonably possible if a brief technical delay occurs).
  • Default local storage: by default, photos you add in the app are stored locally on your device.
  • No training/marketing use: photos are not used for advertising/marketing profiling and are not used to train models.

1.3 Location information (only if you allow)

If you grant permission, we may collect approximate and/or precise location information for features that require it (for example, tagging a wear record by location). You can enable or disable location collection at any time in your device settings.

1.4 Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device model, operating system version, language settings, and app version.
  • Usage data: interactions with features, in-app events, and performance metrics.
  • Crash and diagnostics: crash logs and error reports to help us troubleshoot and improve stability.

1.5 Cookies and similar technologies

If the Service includes web-based components (such as embedded web views), we may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to support login sessions, remember preferences, and measure performance.

2) How We Use Information

Depending on your location, our processing may rely on consent, performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service), and legal obligations.

4) How We Share Information

  • With your consent or at your direction.
  • With processors: trusted service providers that process data only on our instructions and for the minimum necessary purpose (e.g., hosting, customer support tools, security, and (where used) analytics and crash reporting).
  • For legal reasons: comply with law and lawful requests.
  • To protect rights and safety: enforce policies and prevent abuse.

We do not sell personal information.

5) International Transfers

  • Account deletion: delete or anonymize within 30 days (subject to legal requirements).
  • Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
  • Customer support records: up to 6 months.
  • One-time photo uploads for generation/export: deleted immediately after processing completes (or as soon as reasonably possible if a brief technical delay occurs), unless you choose to save results.

10) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the Effective Date. If changes are material, we will take additional steps as required by law.
